Two WM Mammoth provide perfect ice at the federal training center for ice hockey and curling / Füssen
The federal training center for ice hockey and curling (BSP) in Füssen is proud owner of two state-of-the-art WM Mammoth ice resurfacing machines. The all-electric high-end models were handed over in the presence of major Maximilian Eichstetter, the Head of Administration at the BSP Björn Schultheiss, the two EWR board members Richard Alber and Christoph Hilz as well as the AST sales manager Hannes Schretter.
“If you think of the city of Füssen, you think of ice hockey and curling”, says major Maximilian Eichstetter. “That’s why we want to ensure that the athletes at the federal training center always find optimal conditions. In recent years, we have been able to achieve many improvements in the BPS – from the installation of new dasher boards and mesh ice to the conversion to LED technology. AST takes a further step in this quality offensive; the machines benefit athletes and ice experts alike, as the WM Mammoth offers features to optimally prepare the ice. I am already looking forward to high-profile events at the BSP, such as the U18 Ice Hockey World Championships in spring or next year’s Curling World Championships.”
