The first AST ice rink based on absorber technology, is being built in Tyrol - Foundation AST Eissport- u. Solaranlagenbau GmbH (Füssen / Germany) and AST Eissport- u. Solar power plant AG (Herisau / Switzerland)

1992

Bernd Lechner develops the AST ice box

1993

For the first time AST rental skating rinks are introduced

1997

The EW Reutte take over AST

1998

The AST production moves from Telfs to Reutte - AST delivers the first mobile ice hockey rink for an Ice Hockey A-World Championship. AST is commissioned with the construction of ice rinks on the new cruise ships of the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

2002

The productivity of AST has increased enormously in 2002. 21 solar absorber systems, 5 stationary ice rinks and 120 rental ice rinks were delivered and assembled

2004

Supplier of the figure skating world championship in Dortmund. Enjoy the Stars by and with Katarina Witt AST provides and installs a 2000 m² solar absorber system in Uruguay / South America

2005

Foundation of AST Refrigeration and Solar Technology Co. Ltd. (Beijing). AST supplies dasherboards and ice resurfacing machines for the Ice Hockey A-World Championships in Innsbruck and Vienna

2006

AST is ice technic supplier of the European Figure Skating Championship in Lyon

2007

AST receives the order to deliver more than 70 ice hockey rinks to Russia

2010

AST receives the order for the total ice technology equipment for the opening match of the Ice Hockey World Championship on Schalke. With 77,803 spectators a new world record was set

2011

AST builds the largest mobile rink in the world. In the Moscow Gorki Park, more than 15,000 m² of ice rink are now available to the skaters

2012

Seven of the 10 most beautiful ice rinks in the world come from AST

2013

AST is the supplier of the European Figure Skating Championships in Budapest and the DEL Wintergames in Nürnberg

2014

AST is the ice technology provider of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2014-2015 in Barcelona

AST installs the highest ice hockey rink in Europe located on the summit of the Zugspitze

AST takes over the Zamboni representation for the Austrian market

AST relocates from Reutte to Höfen and opens its new headquarters there. At the IIHF Ice Hockey A World Championships in Denmark, AST is the all-in supplier of the two venues in Herning and Copenhagen: 2 x ice rinks, 2 x dasherboards, 2 x refrigeration plants, 4 x ice resurfacing machines (WM Mammoth)
