AST sends a strong signal for solar technology and environmental protection

At AST Eis- und Solartechnik, we have once again clearly demonstrated since the beginning of 2025 how powerful and forward-looking modern solar technology can be – not just on paper, but on real roofs, open spaces, and swimming pools.

 

Together with our customers, we have set a visible example for renewable energy, sustainability, and environmental protection. And we have done so with impressive figures:

 

1. 17 solar systems installed – 14 of them in Germany and 3 in Austria
2. 6,900 m² of AST solar absorber mats laid – equivalent to almost a football field
3. 2,100,000 kWh of solar energy generated – clean and sustainable
4. 184,000 liters of fuel oil saved – a real contribution to climate protection
5. 580 tons less CO₂ emissions – for a livable future

 

Our solar technology solutions are used in particular in outdoor swimming pools, sports facilities, and public institutions – places where energy is needed and can be saved.

 

With our innovative AST solar absorbers, we not only provide hot water, but also permanently reduce operating costs and protect the environment at the same time. For us, solar energy is more than just technology – it is an active contribution to the energy transition and to improving the quality of life locally.
