Participating in VDFU ConnEX 2026 from February 24 to 26 was once again a great opportunity for us to exchange ideas in person with industry colleagues, partners, and decision-makers from the leisure and entertainment industry. The industry event is one of the most important meeting places for operators, manufacturers, and service providers in German-speaking countries and once again offered exciting insights into current developments and future trends this year.

Personal dialogue

The leisure and event industry is constantly evolving: topics such as sustainability, energy efficiency, innovative experience formats, and new technical solutions are becoming increasingly important. Direct exchange with experts and operators provides valuable insights that we can integrate into our projects in a targeted manner.

 

The area of themed ice rinks and ice infrastructure in particular shows how crucial the interplay of experience, planning expertise, and modern technology is. Individual solutions, energy-optimized systems, and emotional visitor experiences are at the heart of successful facilities today. This is exactly where we from AST have been contributing our expertise for years - with tailor-made concepts for amusement parks, events, municipalities, and tourist destinations.

For us, participating in specialized events and trade fairs is a key part of staying up to date with the latest technology and concepts and continuing to offer our customers innovative solutions of the highest standard.

 

Conclusion
