Winter Classics

The Winter Classics is a trend, which like so many has made its way across the Atlantic to Europe from America. The Ice Hockey Clubs of Bern staged the Tatze-Derby in the "Stade de Suisse" football stadium as long ago as 2007. More than 30,000 spectators watched the game, setting a European attendance record for a league ice hockey match.

The challenge with events like this is to offer an attractive complete package of sport and entertainment - usually in conjunction with the live television broadcasts.

AST places its many years of experience at the disposal of the event organisers, and provides mobile ice hockey rinks including boards that conform to international regulations. AST will also arrange for the ice rinks to be set up and dismantled.
